Integration with Альфа аптека

We ensured the integration of the CartaMe mobile app with the accounting system of the Alfa ApteKa retail chain, built on 1C: Trade Management 8.3, so that CartaMe users could become members of the chain's loyalty program and use a unified Loyalty ID as their program participant identifier.

The project was implemented as part of CartaMe's ongoing development of integrations with systems based on 1C: Trade Management 8.3. On the CartaMe side, we prepared API exchange specifications, a test environment, and system interaction logic. This enabled a fast and predictable partner onboarding process with minimal strain on the client's internal team.

As part of the integration, we configured the transfer of data about new users who provided consent to participate in the loyalty program, and also implemented the exchange of information required for proper participant registration in the client's accounting system. Loyalty ID was used as a unified participant identifier, which eliminated duplicate registration and simplified the customer journey.

Additionally, we implemented secure data exchange mechanisms between the systems, including request authentication and validation of correct information transfer between CartaMe and 1C

Development stages

1
We studied the architecture of the client's accounting system
3 hrs
We conducted an audit of the directory structures, document flow, and business processes of the accounting system. We identified the optimal entry points for integration with CartaMe. This allowed us to design the solution without modifying the system core
2
We prepared API exchange specifications for the integration
4 hrs
We developed a detailed API specification: data formats, request scenarios, error handling, and logging
3
We deployed a test environment
8 hrs
We created an isolated test environment that fully simulates the production environment. A safe space for debugging data exchanges and testing edge cases—with no risk to the client's live data
4
We configured the mechanism for transferring new loyalty program participants
6 hrs
We automated the transfer of data about new participants from CartaMe to the accounting system upon registration. The loyalty card / counterparty profile is created instantly—without manual entry, duplicates, or delays
5
We implemented data exchange between CartaMe and the client's accounting system
5 hrs
We organized bidirectional synchronous/asynchronous exchange: transmission of orders, stock balances, prices, bonus transactions, and statuses
6
We ensured secure data exchange between the systems
8 hrs
We implemented encryption, request signing, a role‑based access model, and full audit logging of all actions. The transmission of personal data and bonus history is protected against interception, tampering, and leaks—ensuring full compliance
7
We conducted joint testing
5 hrs
We organized cross-functional testing with the participation of business users, IT, and CartaMe administrators. We verified positive and negative scenarios, error handling, load testing, and recovery procedures. All issues were identified and resolved before launch
8
We executed the integration launch
1 hr
We executed a smooth cut-over to the production environment with monitoring. We recorded performance metrics, configured alerts, and provided post-release support

What the client got:
1. A CartaMe user gains the ability to become a member of the Alfa ApteKa retail chain's loyalty program.
2. Loyalty ID is used as a single participant identifier in the client's accounting system.
3. Stable data exchange between CartaMe and 1C: Trade Management 8.3 has been implemented for new loyalty program participants.
4. The integration reduced user onboarding time and simplified the partner's subsequent management of the customer base.
5. Using a proven approach for 1C: Trade Management 8.3 accelerated project launch.
